John 2:1-11

Jesus came as a guest to a wedding in Cana but by the time he left he had used a sign to make it clear that he was actually the master of the wedding. We sometimes want to treat Jesus like a servant or guest; a genie we can summon to grant our wishes exactly how we want him to. But we need to remember to let God act on his own time, according to his own will. He will swoop in to save the day in the best way.
