Prof Stephen Parker talks to Mathew Jacobson, Founder and CEO of Ducere Global Business School at the Universities Australia Conference which took place in Canberra in late February 2020. Mat has spent his career in Ed-Tech, having founded two prior education startups that were later sold to public companies. Ducere Global Business School is Matt's third education venture. Ducere was founded off the back of the disconnect between the lecture hall on a campus and the skills that individuals need to do a job in the workplace. Mat set out to deliver a student-focused and industry-relevant business school that partners with established universities in delivering internationally recognized qualifications.
