In today's episode, I’m sharing my conversation with CPA and HR Professional Dot Rock of Dot Rock Consulting. I started following Dot’s work a couple years ago and knew right away that I would one day collaborate with her. She embodies what she preaches, leading by example and challenging us all change our relationship with support, hiring, and receiving.
I attended a workshop of hers recently about hiring a Chief Energy Officer. We’re all about Energy here on the podcast, and so I’m excited to share this concept with you, Dot’s practical approach, and her powerful personal story.
Dot is the CEO & Founder of Dot Rock Consulting - a holistic HR consulting company that focuses on helping entrepreneurs lean into the art of receiving support and putting on their oxygen masks first. She helps them start first with scaling their personal lives and outsourcing home stuff, and then she helps them take their business to the next level by scaling and right-sizing their companies. With one life to live, it is too short to not learn to allow ourselves to receive and delegate. Dot has become known as “The Hiring Whisperer” by her friends and colleagues because she can make this often-frustrating process feel abundant and filled with ease.
In her spare time, Dot is passionate about Crossfit, outdoor adventures and flying. She’s dynamic and vibrant in every way and will help your business be the same. She also writes a blog: oxygenfirst.com - encouraging everyone to focus on their needs and desires first, before taking care of others.
