As we study the Book of Acts, we will be studying how the early church got started, who the Holy Spirit is and His role in the church today, and how being filled with the Holy Spirit is essential to the life of every Christian.

In this study we read how many disciples had gathered back in Jerusalem to wait for the promise of God which was to wait for the Holy Spirit to come upon them. We also read how Peter took it upon himself to start an election process to replace the Judas Iscariot with another disciple in good standing to be the twelfth Apostle as prophesied in Psalms.
