Look at a map of downtown Chattanooga - and you can trace the boundaries of the Civic Center District between 4th and 13th Streets, and between Highway 27 to Houston Street.

Just a few destinations within those boundaries: TVA, the Dome Building, Miller Park, EPB, the Tivoli Theatre and the West Village.

The nonprofit Chattanooga Design Studio is now guiding a planning process with community input for the district’s future - to arrive at a collective vision for “a downtown where people connect.”

The next chance for people to connect with the planning process is what is known as a charrette - on Monday, August 12th at the downtown Chattanooga Public Library, starting at 4 PM.
