Laverne and Shirley head to a fancy department store to get ideas for an outfit for Laverne's trip to the policeman's ball.  A brawl with the manager results in Laverne being accused of stealing a scarf and being imprisoned.  Shirley does any and everything she can think of to free her BFF before she goes on trial.
