Guest Philip Smith is one half of Freshly Baked, an edibles company based in Taunton, Mass. Philip and his wife Jenny Roseman founded the company in 2018 and got a provisional license to operate at the start of March this year, just as the coronavirus shutdown was beginning. But Philip and Jenny are both veterans, and a little pandemic won’t slow them down. Host Brit Smith chats with Philip about his experience as a social equity applicant with the CCC, decreasing stigma around cannabis use among veterans, and his ambitions for Freshly Baked.
