Gun Free South Africa says that it’s calling for the running of the police’s Central Firearms Registry to be outsourced because it is dysfunctional. One of the cases they are mentioning as an example is that of former police officer, Christian Prinsloo who was convicted of stealing firearms from the central registry and selling them illegally.
