In a normal political world, we are left to repeat over and over again the same ideas, positions, and laws in the so-called effort to reduce urban violence that has been skyrocketing. It has become a drone from right and left and it goes between more gun control and more police and sometimes, both.
But what if there was an entirely different way to look at the whole situation? What if there was one simple idea that if adopted now, could make the streets as safe as Iowa City in 1954?
