In this week’s episode we do something which is a little unusual for us and play a few new releases. However, the quality of material that has been released this week is just too good to ignore. That said we also manage to put a few oldies in, with some focus on the early 80’s boogie fusion and 60’s Blue Note (and related).

We feature new material from Kasmari Washington, Lack Of Afro & Corduroy. We play 2 tunes from the new latenighttales album, this one compiled by Anges Obel (and the tracks are from Tamba Trio, Quarteto Em Cy & Sibylle Baier).

There are also tracks from LeRoy Hutson, Chaka Khan, Side Effect, Mose Allison, Ruben Wilson, The Buddy Rich Big Band & “Brother” Jack McDuff
