West Coast Ultra Podcast

H-O-T-T-O-G-O

Listen Later

This week's episode is a solo one where I look at some beginner or wannabe ultrarunners' worries.

Be warned, this is just my take on these things - my opinion and I try to come from a place of love and support.

As you know I focus my coaching on people new to ultrarunning or people who want to improve so these are conversations that I have already had in some shape or form, so if you do want to come into my coaching then at least you know where I will be coming from.

  • - I'm too slow
  • - I don't have the time to train for a marathon, let alone an ultra; I don't have hours to train every weekend
  • - I hated my road marathon, why would I run further
  • - I don't have trails or hills to train on
  • - I don't have a crew, in fact, what even are crews???
  • - I hate hills
  • - I don't like running in the dark
  • - I don't want to get lost/ I'm awful at navigation
  • - Self-doubt- it's too hard for me, too long, only for elites, I could never, etc

If you want to grab a call to see how I can help you move into ultrarunning then get in touch here: https://teamrunrun.com/coach/david-taylor-glasgow-running-coach/
