A Harvard nutritionist (营养学家) and brain expert says she avoids these 5 foods that ‘weaken memory and focus’


1. Added sugars

The brain uses energy in the form of glucose(葡萄糖), a form of sugar, to fuel cellular(细胞的) activities. However, a high-sugar diet can lead to excess glucose in the brain, which studies have linked to memory impairments and less plasticity(可塑性) of the hippocampus (海马体)— the part of the brain controlling memory.
