Can you imagine finding joy in your work, seeing the journey as the prize, and embracing gratitude even in the grind? The Apostle Paul had every reason not to be grateful based on his earthly experiences, yet he overflowed with gratitude and encouraged other followers of Christ to do the same in his New Testament letters. From the text of his letter in 1 Thessalonians, we can see four habits of a grateful heart: respect, ready to serve, rejoicing & prayerful, and receiving sanctification from the Lord.
