Hoy os voy a enseñar a preparar unos deliciosos merengues. Esta receta es muy sencilla y sólo requiere tres ingredientes. Es perfecta para merendar, sobre todo cuando no sabemos qué hacer y tenemos pocos ingredientes en casa.

Recuerdo que de pequeña me encantaban, y a día de hoy siguen siendo uno de mis dulces favoritos. Son una opción fácil, económica y deliciosa frente a otros dulces más elaborados o comprados, que suelen ser más caros y al final no siempre están tan ricos como estos fáciles merenguitos caceros.

Today I am going to teach you how to prepare some delicious meringues. This recipe is very simple and only requires three ingredients. It is perfect for snacking, especially when we do not know what to do and we have few ingredients at home.

I remember I used to love them when I was little, and to this day they are still one of my favorite sweets. They are an easy, economical and delicious option compared to other more elaborate or purchased sweets, which are usually more expensive and in the end are not always as tasty as these easy merenguitos caceros.

Estos son los ingredientes que necesitarás

  • 3 huevos
  • 3/4 de taza de azúcar refinado
  • 1 cucharada de esencia de vainilla

      • Separar las claras de los huevos, desechando las yemas.
      • Batir las claras con una batidora de mano a punto de nieve.
      • Añadir poco a poco el azúcar, y una vez todo bien mezclado, añadir la cucharada de esencia de vainilla.
        • Separate the egg whites from the eggs, discarding the yolks.
        • Beat the egg whites with a hand mixer until stiff.
        • Gradually add the sugar, and once everything is well mixed, add the tablespoon of vanilla essence.

          • Seguir batiendo hasta obtener una mezcla homogénea.
          • A continuación, colocar la mezcla en una manga pastelera desechable.
            • Continue beating until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
            • Then place the mixture in a disposable piping bag.

              • Dar forma a los merengues en una bandeja de horno engrasada. En caso de no tener papel de hornear, puedes utilizar alternativas, ya que los cubanos somos expertos en adaptar jaja.
              • A continuación, mételos en el horno durante una hora u hora y media, dependiendo de la intensidad del horno.
              • Déjalos cocer en el horno durante una hora.
                • Shape the meringues on a greased baking sheet. In case you don't have baking paper, you can use alternatives, since we Cubans are experts in adapting haha.
                • Then put them in the oven for an hour or an hour and a half, depending on the intensity of the oven.
                • Let them bake in the oven for one hour.
