I enjoy this book*****
I was interested in this book because I heard about hacking, yet knew little about it. So glad that I read this book. Excellent book that covers many topics in one book, yet concisely ties them together well with an overview of how to protect you or your information .When you hear the word "hacking", the first the come in your mind is to go over someone else's system. But why would you grab this book if you have a bad motive? The author provides great concept of getting more secured. You have to know how to defend your system from possible attacks that would corrupt your system. Once again, don't grab this book if you want to attack someone but to defend your system from attackers.
Helpful book, now I understand more about the TYPES of hackers and more...
I was interested in this book because I heard about hacking, yet knew little about it. So glad that I read this book. Personally, I was to learn that there are several types of hackers (even helpful ones, not all are bad ones).
Thus book has very complete information...
Because I am impressed with the helpful information, I use thus as a reference book now.
This book is loaded with information.I feel safer now on the internet after reading this book.
Nice book
Ever since my younger brother watched the 'Mr robot' Series on netflix he has been obsessed with hacking and how cool it is, when i saw this book in the promo I picked it up for him and he absolutely loved to get into the basic know how of hacking. I cannot speak on the technical depth of hacking and how much info it provides on hacking since I have no interest whatsover in doing so. My brother loved it so 4 stars!
Good introduction to hacking
This book is for absolute beginners. If you already know about hacking or network security, you will probably not learn a lot of new things here. Basically this book is just a collection of definitions of terms or computer programs used for hacking. But it won't teach you any specific attacks. But for the beginners, this book is a great starting point!
