In order to get into the closed system of the ego, it seems to be necessary to look at the system. How do we do that? It seems like the only way we’re going to get into that is to just look at it. Sitting meditation is like looking at the secrecy of ego, the way it puts up ideas, interpretations, and opinions that fuel the hope and fear which keeps everything isolated and closed off in a cage of our own making.
