In this week's episode, Ayo and I discuss the topic of haematopoietic stem cells or HSCs. We continue our exploration into the world of stem cells. The episode starts off with a recap of the previous episode and an introduction to the HSCs world. 

The episode introduces HSCs system or haematopoiesis and its importance to the transplantation of HSCs. The factors, both extrinsic and intrinsic, which affect the storage and regulation of HSC are also discussed. Ayo dives deep into the diseases affected by an abnormality or lack of HSC. We finish off the episode with therapeutic treatments by HSCs, including HSC transplantation and gene therapy is discussed at length.
