Summary

The book of Haggai discusses the rebuilding of the Temple after the Babylonian exile. The prophet encourages the people to prioritize this task and predicts the coming of the Messiah, referred to as the "Desire of All Nations." The verses highlight Jesus as the true temple and source of peace. Beloved, we must point people to Him.

In the second year of King Darius, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came by Haggai, the prophet to Zerubbabel, the son of che LTL, governor of Judah, and to Joshua, the son of Jehoahaz.
