For the next two weeks we will be exploring the exciting Book of Haggai . It’s a story of how God loves to partner with His people to rebuild lives, cities and even kingdoms that are in ruins. One of the hard questions Haggai asks God’s people in Haggai 1:4 is this: “Is it time for you to live in panelled houses, while my house remains in ruins?” or as The Message version says: “How is it that it’s the ‘right time’ for you to live in your fine new homes while the Home, God’s Temple, is in ruins?”
