Hala's Story

Think about the best stories you’ve heard. They probably span across various genres, focus on different points in time, or are set in fantastic worlds. But despite their many differences, they all have one thing in common: they’re relatable. They have characters with the same traits we do, and center on situations or conflicts that mimic scenarios we face every day (even in a fantasy world). 

By sharing real stories about real women in their own words, we seek to evoke the same feeling in our audience that comes from reading a good book or watching a good movie. 

The women in our stories may not share the same socioeconomic or racial background. They may be of different generations or geographies. But across our worlds, there's much to share – and to recognize.
