Welcome to Nearly One-Fourth, the podcast dedicated to being a space for women in architecture sharing their experiences in the profession. On today's episode I am happy to welcome one of my great undergraduate friends, Haley Evans to the Nearly One-Fourth Community.

Haley is an Architecture and Urban designer based in New York City. She holds a Master's of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis (Wash U) and a Bachelor's of Science in Architecture from Bowling Green State University (BGSU). Throughout her studies, her passion for advocacy led her to hold several leadership positions, including President of the Wash U chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIAS) and Vice President of the BGSU chapter. A multi-disciplinary practitioner, Haley has worked alongside teams of urban designers, interior designers, and art curators on projects spanning residential and commercial interior renovations, streetscape design, sustainable and attainable housing, and neighborhood and city plans through community-driven design. A sustainability advocate, Haley believes that innovative approaches to architecture are crucial to designing solutions to societal challenges. She approaches design solutions with this unique and multi-disciplinary mindset.
On this weeks episode we talk about many topics including her multi-disciplinary pursuits, leadership and air out some grievances from pursuing leadership roles in undergrad in the process! Please help me in welcoming, Haley Evans to the show!
