This episode spotlights Halle Hunt, a national-level competitive rugby player and founder of the Student-Athlete Speaker Series (SASS). SASS is a multimedia program dedicated to connecting student-athletes to athletic mentors. The cancelation of competitions and practices due to the beginning of the pandemic was an uncertain time for all athletes; Halle realized that other athletes were experiencing the same thing, motivating her to start this program to foster a supportive community for student-athletes. The Student-Athlete Speaker Series has hosted mentors from Olympians to D1 Athletes to coaches.
