Psalm 146 comes from the heart, hands and harp of someone with happy faith. He is happy because of his faith in the God who helps and who therefore gives him hope. The psalmist was happy, and he wants his readers to be happy too. But more to the point, he expects those who are happy to speak like it, to sing like it, to submit like it, to serve like it and, generally, to live like it.
