Hallelujah in Hebrew is spelled הַלְלוּיָהּ and is pronounced Hallelu-Yah. It is a compound word: Hallelu (meaning "praise ye" or "everyone praise") and Yah (a shortened form of the divine name Yahweh). It means "Praise the Lord" or "Praise Jah" and appears frequently in the Psalms, representing a call to communal, joyful, and exuberant worship
Not for comercial use. Just for my students to practice.
