Halloween (1978) - "his PHD was written in crayon"

Listen Later

We're back! After a summer break and hectic schedule conflicts, we finally managed to find a time where we were together and could sit down to watch the film that's often credited for kick starting the big slasher boom of the 80's; John Carpenter's 1978 film 'Halloween'. After catching up and downing a prescription punch we watch and try to discuss the infamous Michael Myers... and accidently focus much more on his quack of a doctor instead.

This film made us question if a seemingly unstopable killer is truly the monster here, or if it's his doctor who hides in bushes with a gun and believes that people can be inherintly evil... Okay, it's still the killer who's the villain of this film but we really do hate Dr Loomis. Join us for a very chaotic episode as we forget how we structure our show, proceed to focus too much on Dr Loomis and go on tangents, as the alchohol hits Brie a bit hard since she messed up the timing of her medication. Hope you enjoy and follow us for more episodes soon!!
