Transforming a theme park into a realm of horror was a concept that would go a lot farther than Universal had anticipated. In 1991, Fright Nights became the first chapter in the book of Halloween Horror Nights™ Orlando, growing from a three-night "Halloween Party" to the monster of events it is today.

Zimmerman was part of the Universal Studios Pioneer Team responsible for the design, development and building of Universal Florida.
