It’s the iPad365 Hallowe’en spectacular. Today I take a look at four iPad apps that you can download and use to get in the all hallowed spirit. Hallowe’en is a great time to get in a different character and scare the be-jesus out of everyone!

First I want to point you to the Walking Dead iPad app I talked about a few weeks ago. A choose your own adventure graphic novel game that is a lot of fun to play.

Carve-A-Pumpkin

The folks over at Parent magazine put this app out. Carve-A-Pumpkin a simple pumpkin carving app. Choose your gourd and start cutting. Use the pre-cut shapes like noses and eyes to place on your pumpkin. Add some ambiance like black cats or ghosts. Set your carved pumpkin with a nice background and you are ready to send to Facebook or Twitter.

Carve-A-Pumpkin is free and available for all iOS devices

LEGO Halloween Creationary

Need a fun game to play with the kids (or just play on your own)? Check out LEGO Halloween Creationary. This game tests your visual skills as it builds a scary creature or object and you have to guess which item it’s creating.

The LEGO Halloween Creationary spins a special dice. From that, it will determine which 4 items you choose from. The game will start building one of the items from LEGO pieces. The faster you choose the correct item, the more points you receive. Of course if you choose incorrectly you will loose the game.

LEGO Creationary is free and available for all iOS devices.

Ghost-O-Meter

Do you think there are ghosts in your house? Why not try doing some basic ghost hunting with the Ghost-O-Meter app. You move around as the Ghost-O-Meter picks up paranormal activity. When Ghost-O-Meter detects a ghost, the needle will move around. Check your ghost detection score through the menu.

Ghost-O-Meter is available for iOS devices.

Scary Sounds for iPad

While growing up, we had a lot of fun during Hallowe’en. We would set up the front yard to scare people and put the hi-fi next to the window to play scary music. The record player turned into a boom box, the boom box became a MP3 player and now we have the iPad to make the scary sounds.

Whether a trick-or-treat scare fest or just needing scary sounds for your podcast or party, Scary Sounds can help. You can choose from multiple sounds. Hit the play button and see the people jump.

Scary Sounds is free and available for all iOS devices.
