Case #1: A fun and innocent holiday turned bloody and dark. Find out who is arrested for the brutal murder of Sister Tadea Benz, a Catholic Nun murdered on Halloween morning back in 1981. Case #3: When you read the words: Ice pick… pliers…screwdriver…sledgehammer. What comes to mind? These may sound like the names of ordinary tools you have scattered throughout your home, but for Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris these tools served a much darker purpose. They used an ice pick, pliers and screw driver as a way to torture and murder their prey. Their usual suspects were young women under the age of 18, some of whom were simply hitchhiking when they became one of the deadly duo’s next victims. Join us this week as we go back to the 1970’s where Bittaker and Norris used the roads of California to hunt their victims and the remote areas of the San Gabriel Mountains as their murder grounds to brutalize, kill and dump the bodies of innocent young women.
