So, there are a bunch of different urban legends about female ghosts. And this series is gonna talk about the types of ghosts that have been spotted as well as a couple of legends from all over the globe! Welcome to the first episode of our Halloween Ghost Special! Today we're talking about the white lady - she is a type of female ghost usually seen in rural areas and often associated with some sort of local legend or tragedy. White lady legends are actually told all over the world, regardless of culture or religion. They tend to be associated with the theme of loss or betrayal and they are similar to a Banshee in that they are said to be an omen of death. In fact, she may even appear in photos taken just before or just after someone dies and is commonly thought to be the spirit of deceased ancestors...
