A stroll through the coolest district in the city: our tips for the Schanzenviertel

You won't find so many 'places to go' in any other part of the city: in the Schanzenviertel, you can enjoy a relaxed coffee on the piazza on Schulterblatt during the day - and then a Caipi & co. in the evening. You can find cool clothes stores in Susannenstraße or Schanzenstraße and of course in the adjacent Karoviertel in Marktstraße.

Here are all the places and tips that we introduce to you in this episode:

  • The piazza on the Schulterblatt stretches along the Schulterblatt, between Susannenstraße and Rosenhofstraße. Here you will find many cafés and bars.
  • Directly opposite the piazza is the Rote Flora (house number 71).
  • In this episode, we also recommend the Neuer Pferdemarkt…
  • … and the adjacent Schlachthof area. There you will find, for example, the Knust concert club (Neuer Kamp 30, https://knusthamburg.de) or the Cohen + Dobernigg bookshop (Sternstraße 4, www.codobuch.de).
