From his humble beginning, Hamdan Azhar fought his way to the top of the biostatistics field and reinvented ways to interpret data in social and political climates. But his journey to discovering and re-inventing data science wasn’t an easy one. From working on Ron Paul's presidential  campaign to applying emoji as a data source to current news, Hamdan talks with Kazuki about the people who encouraged him down that path, and his realization and pursuit for interpreting data in a new direction.
