Today is April 5, 2026, Easter Sunday! Our celebrants were Fr. Chris Tiano and Deacon Ronald Gurr.
“I am forgotten, like the unremembered dead… I am like a dish that is broken.”
It’s powerful imagery because in one way or another, we are all broken. But the message of Easter is that Christ doesn’t reject our brokenness - He embraces it. Through His death and resurrection, we are transformed from scattered shards into something beautiful, whole, and capable of reflecting His light to a world in need.
We can’t fix every problem in the world, but we can control the small “hula hoop” of the world around us - our words, our kindness, our forgiveness. If each of us brings Christ’s light into that space, the world really can change… one person at a time.
