It’s easy to look at the world and see darkness in the headlines - war, poverty, and division. But what about the darkness that lives closer to home? The struggles of self-will, the feeling of being "cut off" from God, or the heavy fear of mortality.

This Feast of the Epiphany, we reflect on how the Magi’s gifts aren't just historical tributes, but solutions for our modern-day shadows: Gold to crown Christ over our own self-will. Frankincense to remind us we are never unworthy or separate from God. Myrrh to transform our fear of death into the hope of resurrection.

We aren't the source of the light, but like the moon, we are called to reflect the Light of Christ so the world may see His hope, His mercy, and His love through us.

May we go forth and be the light in the darkness. 🕯️
