Will is a man from the sixteenth century. He resides in England on a farm. Will meets a girl, seduces her, gets married, and starts a nice family. will go on business trips. Then the unimaginable occurs. 

Before turning into something heavier, the first half is similar to Malick in terms of steady pace, lightness, and feel. At that point, Will turns into Shakespeare. 

The best and worst aspects of humanity are reflected in artists from all ages. Tragic events have shaped every one of us, even if we don't have the means to express ourselves. 

To understand the impact of art, how it helps artists deal with suffering, and how it helps audiences identify with one another, you don't have to be a fan of Shakespeare or theater.
