Zipper hint from Daisyknits.com
“The best way that I have found to put a zipper into a garment is to glue the zipper into place using a good fabric glue. Let it dry completely. Then sew the zipper in place. No pins are needed once the glue is dry and every thing moves through the sewing machine smoothly and at the same time. Do make sure that before you glue the zipper in place you have treated the knitted fabric so that it will not shrink when washed or cleaned.”
