Are you on Ravelry? If so, would you join a group devoted to this podcast? I mean you don’t have to be really devoted to it but would you join it? I need to have at least three people before I can be a group.

    Hand Knitting

    For Angie’s baby girl:

Scrappy Sock Yarn Preemie Hat by Greg Cohoon. The pattern costs $3.00 but Greg is donating all the proceeds to Family Support Network of Central Carolina.

I made the newborn size and then dyed it pink.

    For Sara’s baby girl:

Miss Daisy cardigan by Lisa Chemrey.

I used some hand spun yarn (White Pine Fiberworks) that had been in my stash forever. I bought it at the Spinner’s Flock event in Chelsea.

I used Wilton’s food safe cake dyes to dye yarn. Here is a link to their site with all the information about yarn dyeing.

I used a skein of Steinbach Wolle Activ Pronto 6 ply sock yarn.

I made a pair of Turkish Bed Socks.

No love on the Aranami shawl this month.

    I finished the lunchtime mittens.

I forgot to mention that I  started and finished knit the Golden Cherries Shawlette by Pam Jemelian. I used Quince and Co Chickadee yarn.

    Machine Knitting

Spouse’s v-neck saddle-shoulder cardigan on the LK 150 machine. I used the Cochenille Garment Designer software to  create the pattern.

All pieces are knitted and blocked and are awaiting seaming and a hand knitted button band and lower edge.

    I used Lopi yarn.

After I get this podcast episode uploaded, I’m going to work on seaming and hand knitting the ribbing at the hem and the button bands. I may have enough Lopi yarn in color number 0052 (gray) for a shawl collar.

Next up is machine knitted socks for my nephew-in-law’s 50th birthday.
