What happened when I applied to 10 grad schools with speech pathology programs? 

Every year, the months of February, March, and April remind bring me back to applying to grad school. It’s the time of year that letters of acceptance are making their way into inboxes (or mailboxes) across the nation...and so are the rejections. I will never forget those days of searching for schools with speech pathology programs, filling out applications and GPAs, and waiting.

The semester of rejections was terrible. What kept me out of grad school, you ask? 2 classes.

Whether you’re waiting for acceptance to grad school or applying for a new job in your career, this episode is for you, friend. I am the Speech Pathologist that I am today because of the rejections. They are a part of me and pushed me into a world where I was no longer afraid of being the one who was left behind.
