A very special guest, Professor Sean P. Rozario, speaks with Sujata on the show. He has an MBA in Finance from Hartford University in addition to many more Masters certifications across the gamut of financial and credit disciplines. Professor Rozario harnessed his banking and finance experience of twenty-six years to align the People's Association Business Units to their organisation's Financial Audit Guidelines from 2016 to the present. His leadership skills are evident by the appointments he held in his career in the banking and finance industry. He was Head of Compliance for G&M World Invest and Associates, Chief Credit Officer for DHL International, Credit Manager for Diethelm Keller Siber Hegner (DKSH) among many more similar roles for AMEX, HSBC & Standard Chartered. Sean has been a "grassroots leader" for the past eighteen years. He has served as Chairman of the Inter Racial and Religious Community Circle (IRCC) and further represented the IRCC in several capacities. He seeks to influence and inspire Singaporeans through the arts and sports, deepen a sense of identity and belonging to the nation, strengthen community bonds, engage youths and promote volunteerism and philanthropy, to build a gracious and caring society. On today's episode of Hangout with Sujata, Joey Raia shares his life's journey with Sujata. Joey was born and raised on Long Island, New York. Joey grew up in a traditional Italian-American family, where food, culture, family and friends where most in important. It was here where Joey learned his love for cooking and decided to pursue a career in culinary arts. In 1992, Joey moved to Norfolk, Virginia to attend Johnson and Wales. It was in Norfolk where Joey met his wife of 28 years. They have raised 3 beautiful daughters. Joey spent 28 years in a professional kitchen. At an early age she knew it was her desire to be an advocate and spokesperson for people facing injustices. That desire to ensure all people have equitable access to education, food and life necessities helped shape her mind at an early age. She is the founder of VICKtorious, a nonprofit foundation with a mission to empower people with disABILITIES while helping to implement community inclusion programs. Mrs. Vick is married to her college sweetheart and mother to two boys. She is actively involved in her community as an advocate, public speaker, educator and scout leader. Mrs. Vick is driven to help create a path for all people, with special emphasis on youth leadership programs and activities that help create a pathway for those in underserved communities. Mrs. Vick is an international public speaker, leadership development leader and an advocate with 30 years of experience. She is a collaborative author for Absolute Will as well as several articles for The Mighty platform.  In addition to her non-profit work with VICKtorious, she is also serving as Ms. Wheelchair CA USA, 2022. Her platform focuses on the Creation of Inclusive Communities for All Abilities. Mrs. Vick believes that each and everyone of us has something beautiful and unique to offer.
