Mark 6 We have the 12 sent out, John the Baptist

beheaded, Feeding of the 5k, Jesus walking on the

water, & many are made well.

● The twelve are sent out, they take nothing

● They return and Jesus tells them to take a break

● While they head out for a little r & r, people follow

them.

● Jesus is moved with compassion

● Even when He was busy, mourning, building His

team, etc...He had time for people.

● He was concerned for their spiritual well-being,

and their natural well-being.

● Jesus used this opportunity to stretch the 12...they

were hungry, probably annoyed, and wanted to

get back to vacation.

● It is one thing to watch Jesus do something

great...it is another thing to watch yourself do

something great.

● Verse 51 & 52 says they were greatly amazed...at

what had happened during “the supper”
