In September 2017, a 32-year-old teacher vanished from the Virgin Islands after one of the worst storms to ever hit the Caribbean. To the surprise of local authorities, this was her third disappearance. Search efforts were halted when devastation struck again and a second hurricane hit the islands. Her fate remains unknown and those who love her continue to hope she might still be found.
