Hanniffa Patterson

An educator for over 8 years, Hanniffa Patterson enjoys learning and sharing her knowledge, be it languages, digital technology or media. An avid communicator, she is interested in social media, tech, web culture and the impact they have on our society. She sees social media as a powerful tool for businesses to market themselves and to better connect with their customers. It is for this reason that she started Oui social media as she is passionate about helping companies and individuals to leverage the power of social media and to better understand how these platforms can help them to do more for their businesses and clients.

Hanniffa started to research Facebook initially by accident. However, she was soon so taken by this new way of communicating that she chose to do her master’s thesis on Facebook. She soon came to the conclusion that Facebook would not only significantly change the way we communicate with those around us, but could someday change the way we do business.

Thanks to her teaching and continued research Hanniffa has an expert grasp of this constantly changing means of communication. She shares her passion for Facebook and social media with others and loves giving advice on how these tools can prove essential for businesses. She is passionate about Facebook and social media and in  2012, decided to turn her passion into an entrepreneurial endeavour. And thus:  Oui Social Media was Born.
