Born and raised in Anchorage, Hans works as a hydrologist for a local consulting firm. In his spare time, he tries to balance his life- long love of traveling in the mountains with his newfound love of playing gypsy jazz guitar. He likes to write haikus, especially competitively, and engages in storytelling on rare occasions. He is hopeful that after tonight’s show, his mother, noted storyteller Betty Arnett, will stop bugging him about storytelling for a while.
