▣ Today’s Dojeon Verse – 한영대역도전 (11:24:7,9)

형렬이 징조를 요구하다가 크게 놀라며 문득“망하는 세간은 아낌없이 버리고 새 배포를 꾸미라. 만일 아껴서 놓지 않고 붙들고 있으면 몸까지 따라서 망하느니라.” 하신 상제님의 말씀이 생각나고(...)형렬이 경석에게 이르기를 “진실로 하늘의 뜻이니 마음대로 가져가라.” 하니라.

Hyeong-ryeol, who had demanded a sign, was deeply shocked, then he abruptly recalled that Sangjenim had once said, “If your household is on a course for ruin, craft a new beginning by discarding all possessions without any regret over their value. If you believe your possessions to be precious and cling to them, you will be utterly ruined, even in body.”(...) And so, Hyeong-ryeol said to Gyeongseok, “Take what you will from the medicine room, for it truly is the will of heaven.”
