Happy 38th Birthday to Sidney Crosby 08/07/25

There are two things about Sidney Crosby’s birthday which every Penguins fan knows by heart. For one, the date of our Captain’s arrival on Earth is emblazoned on Crosby’s back-and-shoulders, any time he skates for the Pittsburgh Penguins: “8/7.” Secondly, Sid’s birthday means that training camp is just around the corner, signaling an encouraging “midpoint” in an otherwise mundane summer offseason.
