In 2011, thousands of Christian Aid supporters heard the story of Rogers Ochieng Otieno from Usenge, Kenya. For Rogers, Christmas Day was not a holiday. As a volunteer community health worker with the Rural Transport Network, run by Christian Aid and Virgin Unite, he would continue his work delivering vital healthcare advice and vital medicines around Nyanza province.
