Being a father involves carrying the weight of many responsibilities on your shoulders. Sometimes as humans we screw up and do the wrong things and often ask ourselves if we are doing right by those around us. Through the parable Jesus tells of the prodigal son, we are reminded of God's graciousness toward us: in that no matter how far we wander from Him, he is always waiting with open arms for our return. Just like a good father.
