Episode Theme: God’s Covenant Family and the Promises Fulfilled in Jesus

In this episode of Happy & Free, we kick off a special recap series focusing on the promises and works of Jesus, beginning with God's covenant with Israel and our place within His redemptive family plan.

We reflect on humanity’s original design in the Garden: life with God marked by intimacy, union, and partnership. But through the Fall, deception entered, and mankind became entangled in guilt, shame, and fear. Even then, God’s response was to pursue us—not abandon us.

To redeem the world, God chose to start a family. He made a covenant with Abraham that would bless all the families of the earth. Through this covenant, God began His rescue mission—a mission ultimately fulfilled through Jesus.

1. The Messiah – Jesus brings peace.

2. The Holy Spirit – His gift brings power.

3. The Return of Jesus – This hope leads us into purity.

Scripture anchors this episode deeply in God’s faithfulness:

• Genesis 12:3, Genesis 17:7-8, Isaiah 53:5, Acts 3:18-26

• God made an everlasting covenant not based on human obedience but on His own promise.

• Through Jesus, Gentiles are grafted into this family and covenant.

• See God as your Father and recognize your place in His larger family.

• Embrace humility and gratitude toward Israel, who preserved the Scriptures and proclaimed God’s promises across generations.

• Pray for the peace (salvation) of Israel.
