Juneteenth is the celebration of the freeing of the slaves on June 19th, 1865 2.5 years after the beginning of the freeing of slaves.  Juneteenth is a holiday for the descendants of black slaves.  Like veterans day, Christmas and Easter, it is not a holiday for the masses.  Follow me and my conversations with people during the DSM Juneteenth celebration.
