Here we are ending 2024 together and ready to begin a brand new year 2025! I am excited to see what God does in our lives as we step into a new year. Did you choose a word for 2025? I wanted to share the word God laid on my heart! ABIDE

I see this word being a huge impact on me and those I surround myself with.

Abide

The word “abide” is used ten times in the first ten verses of John 15. Looking at the Greek roots of the word, we discover helpful definitions. To abide is to “dwell,” “remain,” “be present,” and to “be held and kept.” Abiding addresses our posture and place. Where are we in proximity to Christ?

My Verse for 2025

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. John 15 4-9

This passage emphasizes the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It uses the metaphor of a vine and branches to describe how believers should abide in Christ

Abide, literally, means to 'stay' or 'remain. ' To abide in the Lord means that we continually receive, believe and trust that Jesus is everything we need
