Wow-what a year we had in 2020 where nurses were considered Heroes. Today's episode rallies the manager and community leaders with 6 Tips for Managers to Lead their Teams to shift your perspective with a slant of course about Hearing Loss Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion. Here are the first three tips from Harvard Business Review and listen to hear more about what you can do to include the 20% with invisible hearing loss.
1. Embrace the discomfort of not knowing - Go from a know-it-all mindset to a learn-it-all mindset. You are not perfect and never need to have all the answers. Look for a new approach like Hearing Friendly Business Training and Certification or an alternative is an online course - Hearing Awareness Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Awareness for Managers that will start on June 6th.
2. Distinguish between complicated and complex. They require different solutions but are easily solvable with presentations from HearCommunication.com
3. Again Let go of perfectionism. Aim for progress instead. We all have the ability to course correct.
